This amazing picture was a gift to me from a dear friend who has just died. She knew how to growl and grin with amazing clarity and dexterity—and at the right time. Today I am grieving her grins and her growls. Today is a grOWLing day, both for personal grief and for world politics just now.
I know grins will return soon.
